Purchase College offers 48 undergraduate majors, 41 minors, and seven graduate programs through eight academic divisions: the Conservatory of Dance, the Conservatory of Music, the Conservatory of Theatre Arts, the School of Art+Design, the School of Film and Media Studies, the School of Humanities, the School of Liberal Studies, and the School of Natural and Social Sciences.
All programs share a single, integrated campus—an intentional design that produces an unusually collaborative learning environment. Faculty across all divisions are active practitioners in their fields: working choreographers, exhibited artists, published authors, performing musicians, and industry professionals who bring real-world experience into every classroom.
Creativity lies at our core. Interdisciplinary study is encouraged. You’ll develop a toolbox of skills: problem-solving, critical thinking, collaboration, and mindful communication. You’ll learn how to learn. That’s a skill for a lifetime.
