The relevant knowledge and skills gained from studying education are in demand across an array of professional fields, both public and private, including youth development, school counseling, social work, community-based education, public administration, curriculum and policy planning, nursing, and business.

Foundational knowledge of education prepares you for graduate study and future teacher training, but also for employment in varied industries—whether leading team-building retreats as a corporate trainer, designing youth development curriculum as a community-based educator, or coordinating educational programming for museum audiences as an independent contractor. The interdisciplinary Education Studies minor allows you to select courses that target subject areas of greatest interest to you.
