    Accessibility Features in Brightspace

    The Teaching, Learning, and Technology Center (TLTC), in collaboration with the Office of Disability Resources (ODR), is seeking to increase awareness about three key accessibility features in Brightspace: Anthology Ally (formerly Blackboard Ally), Accommodations and Special Access, and the built-in Accessibility Checker.

    SUNY Online Teaching Certificate Program

    The SUNY Online Teaching Certificate Program consists of 2 (two) online asynchronous courses. The courses are 6 (six) weeks in length each, and they contain approximately 3-6 hours of work each week. The courses are interactive with instructor feedback to participants and capped at 20 registrants. Fall 2024 courses begin August 27.

    Universal Design in Higher Education: Beyond the Basics (Free SUNY CPD Course)

    This new, free course, currently offered in a hybrid format provides a more in-depth overview of Universal Design (UD) in higher education. Participants will learn more about the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) framework, as well as how to apply UDL and UD to their work with students. Participants in this workshop will apply what they learn about Universal Design, Universal Design for Learning, and/or WCAG principles to create plans for projects to create a more accessible, usable, and inclusive experience for students on their campus.
