    (SUNY Online Webinar) Campus Efforts to Promote an Inclusive Climate in SUNY for AAPI Students, Faculty, and Staff

    Recent acts of violence against Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) people in the US has led colleges and universities to reflect on how they are addressing acts of bias and discrimination against their AAPI students, faculty, and staff. During this Zoom panel discussion, we will hear from three SUNY Chief Diversity Officers (Sam Caldwell at Albany, Joy Harewood at Optometry, and Ronald Milon at FIT) who will talk about steps their campuses have taken to raise awareness about the issue and create a climate where AAPI students, faculty and staff feel safe from harm as an integral part of their campus community.
