Two Pathways. What’s the Difference?
Articulation Agreements are guarantees made between two colleges, while the SUNY Transfer Paths program applies generally to all SUNY schools.
The Articulation Agreement between Purchase and WCC for the programs listed below guarantees acceptance with junior standing and waives all lower-level general education/core requirements. SUNY Transfer Paths provide a menu of Core Courses—essential lower division requirements for various majors and areas of study guaranteed to transfer within the path.

WCC to Purchase Articulation Agreement
After earning your AA or AS degree at Westchester Community College with a GPA of 2.5 or better, you’re guaranteed acceptance with junior standing.
- Your lower-level general education requirements are automatically fulfilled.
- A minimum of 60 credits transfers directly toward your bachelor’s degree.
- Up to 90 credits may apply toward graduation.
- Any credits not used in your major will count toward electives — so nothing goes to waste.
