Accessible Parking
Visitors to Purchase College who wish to park in designated accessible parking spaces must display a state-issued handicapped parking placard or license plate. Accessible parking spaces are blue and designated with the symbol of accessibility. These spaces are available in most faculty, staff and student lots and are available on a first-come first-served basis.
Students with government/state issued handicap parking permits can park in any accessible parking space in any lot on campus as long as their handicap tag is visible in their car’s windshield and their car is registered with a Purchase Parking Permit.
Visitors with government issued handicap parking permits can park in any accessible parking space on campus in any lot as long as their handicap tag is visible in their car’s windshield and they obtain a visitor parking pass for the duration their vehicle is parked on campus. Visitors can obtain a parking pass from Purchase Park-2-Fly or from the Parking and Transportation Office.
