What We’re Doing


  • Rocket Composter

    Rocket Composter Turns Food Waste into Plant Fuel

    The Rocket, located behind Campus Center North, is an on-campus composting system that utilizes food waste from The Hub and personal food waste to create compost used on the grounds of campus.

    FreeNew & FreeStore Promotes Reuse

    Campus community can donate salvageable possessions such as furniture, clothing, office supplies, etc. for student use

    Sustainable Print Management

    SUNY launched an initiative to manage printing across all campuses to save money and decrease environmental impact
  • Volunteers at Mobile Food Pantry

    Mobile Food Pantry

    Once a month, in partnership with Feeding Westchester, a Mobile Pantry will visit campus to bring fresh protein, dairy, produce, and grains to campus community members in need.
