Purchase Thermal Energy Storage Project

Purchase project will demonstrate the capabilities of thermal energy storage.

The Physical Education building will be the site for an exciting, new, combined heat and power (CHP) project funded by the New York Power Authority.

Specifically, the project will allow for intense energy savings through capturing and reusing exhaust heat to heat the building, hot water, and the pool.
