The college’s leadership, faculty, staff and students play a crucial role in advancing sustainability.  The college encourages students to explore sustainability through the use of Green Fee which sets money aside each year to improve buildings, conserve energy, source food, preserve land, reduce waste, and improve transportation options. A committee comprised of staff and students manage the Green Fee voting on sustainability themed projects. The Rocket, described in Food and Dining and Freenew, described in Waste Reduction and Recycling sections are two large-scale projects that were implemented as a result of the Green Fee.
