Transportation Services Offered to Campus
Purchase has various forms of public transportation services, some free to campus members, to help community get to local metropolitan areas. -
Purchase College Students Stand with Puerto Rico
Azia Rodriguez ’19 and Patrick Moore ’21 participated in hands-on service learning projects to rebuild Puerto Rico. -
Mobile Food Pantry
Once a month, in partnership with Feeding Westchester, a Mobile Pantry will visit campus to bring fresh protein, dairy, produce, and grains to campus community members in need. -
Purchase Offers Food Pantry to Address Food Insecurity
Purchase joins all SUNY and CUNY campuses in offering students stigma-free access to free food.
Ways to Get Involved
- Visit the FreeStore, FreeNew, Free Shed.
- Get involved with students organizations such as Purchase UNICEF Club, among others.
- Donate items to the Food Pantry.
- Donate funds to the Make an Impact Food Insecurity Fund.

- Students on the Office of Residental and Student Life’s midnight run event take food, toiletries and clothing into NYC to pass out to people that are homeless.
