Office of the Registrar

The Office of the Registrar  is responsible for maintaining the permanent academic record and ensuring its integrity and security. They receive and record all grades and certify degrees, create the schedule of classes, manage and assign classrooms, update, develop, and maintain the Degree Progress Report, create and manage the course registration process, and oversee transfer credit policies and equivalencies tables. They issue diplomas, oversee transcript requests and provide proof of enrollment.

Office of Student Financial Services

The Office of Student Financial Services (SFS) is committed to providing Purchase students with guidance in the application process for federal, state, and campus-based financial aid and scholarships, and the process in paying for their college education. In addition, the SFS staff is fully qualified to assist students and their families in developing financial plans in paying for this extraordinary investment in their future—their college education.

The Office of Student Financial Services handles the following:

  • Federal and state financial aid programs, student and parent loans
  • Scholarships
  • Payment plans
  • Student refunds
