More About Me

Greg Wharmby is an artist, musician, curator, and educator currently living in Norwalk Connecticut. He works with people, noise, collected objects and general detritus and debris - to build community, collections, exhibitions, and experiences. Greg exhibits in galleries, online, in public and domestic spaces, and is currently developing a body of work that will be pocket portable. Greg has traveled across the country over 75 times and had passed through, lived, performed, and exhibited in many cities in the United States, all the while collecting scraps of memories - relics of lived experience- that find their way into his work. Greg is the Curatorial Manager for Art + Design and the Primary instructor for Arts Open Access, Discovering the Arts.

Greg is a two-time recipient of The Strypemonde teaching Fellowship, MFA Purchase College and MA/M+
