BEM about BEM: Improved Email Editor and Accessibility Tools

The Broadcast Email Messaging (BEM) system has received an update featuring a new and improved email editor, enhanced formatting, and faster tab navigation.

The biggest improvement is how the editor handles content copied and pasted from other sources. Formatting and styles are now preserved much more accurately, making it easier to create emails without having to fix formatting issues. No more eating your spaces & carriage returns!

The editor also includes a new “Import from Word” option under the File menu, allowing you to import a previously created Word document directly into your email. You can then edit, refine, and review the content before sending.

Another exciting addition is the “Accessibility Checker”, available through the button icon featuring a person with arms outstretched. This tool identifies areas of your e-mail that may need additional accessibility attention and then allows you to fix them with a simple click of the Repair button or by adding missing alternative text.

We hope these improvements make creating well-formatted, accessible emails easier and more consistent.
