Dodging Satan tells the story of Bridget Flagherty, a student at St. Michael’s Catholic school outside Boston in the 60s-70s, who takes refuge in wacky misunderstandings of Bible stories and Catholic beliefs to avoid problems in her Irish/Italian family life.
The Foreword INDIES gold award is the latest in a string of awards for the novel by Kathleen McCormick, professor of literature and pedagogy.
