Housing deposits for the 2021-2022 academic year can begin to be paid now. Continuing student deposits MUST be paid by the date of May 7, 2021, new student deposits MUST be paid by the date of June 1, 2021 in order to be prioritized for campus housing.
All deposits can be paid online through your MyHeliotrope account.

Be enrolled for 8 or more credits for the fall 2021 semester by July 1, 2021.
Campus residents who are not registered for classes, with 8 or more credits, by this date will lose their fall/spring housing assignment and will NOT be refunded their housing deposit. Please make sure to meet with your academic advisors and review the Registration Guide. As a reminder, you must be enrolled as a full-time student (12 or more credits) by the start of the semester to maintain your eligibility to live on campus.
Housing Cancellation and Deadlines:
As a reminder, the Purchase College Housing License is a 9-month financial (12-month financial for PREP housing) commitment for the full academic year, both Fall and Spring terms and can only be cancelled in accordance with the terms specified within the license agreement.
As a reminder, the date to withdraw from campus housing without any financial liability is prior to July 15, 2021. Housing cancellations after July 15, 2021 result in a forfeiture of the housing deposit.
Additionally, a withdrawal once the semester starts (August 30, 2021) up to the quarter point of the semester (September 24, 2021) residents are responsible for payment of 50% of the housing charges (receives a 50% refund). After September 24, 2021, you are fully responsible for the full cost of housing.
Residents will be considered as a no show if they do not report to on campus housing and/or contact the Office of Community Engagement by September 10, 2021. A no show will incur a penalty fee of $250.00 in addition to forfeiting the housing deposit.
