Housing deposits for the 2019-2020 academic year can begin to be paid on February 1, 2019. All deposits MUST be paid by the date of March 1, 2019 in order to participate in the Room Selection process.
All deposits can be paid online through your MyHeliotrope account.
Class Registration Deadline:
Returning campus residents must:
Be enrolled for 8 or more credits for the fall 2019 semester by June 7, 2019.
Campus residents who are not registered for classes, with 8 or more credits, by this date will lose their fall/spring housing assignment and will NOT be refunded their housing deposit. Please make sure to meet with your academic advisors and review the Registration Guide. As a reminder, you must be enrolled as a full-time student (12 or more credits) by the start of the semester to maintain your eligibility to live on campus.
Spring 2019 Bill Due Date:
Spring bills are due by January 9, 2019 for all tuition, housing and meal plan charges.
Housing Cancellation and Deadlines:
As a reminder, the Purchase College Housing License is a 9-month financial (12-month financial for PREP housing) commitment for the full academic year, both Fall and Spring terms and can only be cancelled in accordance with the terms specified within the license agreement.
If you are no longer interested in living on campus during the 2019-2020 academic year, please contact our office immediately. As a reminder, the date to withdraw from campus housing without any financial liability is prior to May 1, 2019. Housing cancellations after May 1, 2019 result in a forfeiture of the housing deposit.
Additionally, a withdrawal once the semester starts (August 26, 2019) up to the quarter point of the semester (September 20, 2019) residents are responsible for payment of 50% of the housing charges (receives a 50% refund). After September 20, 2019, you are fully responsible for the full cost of housing.
Residents will be considered as a no show if they do not report to on campus housing and/or contact the Office of Community Engagement by September 10, 2018. A no show will incur a penalty fee of $250.00 in addition to forfeiting the housing deposit.
