Meet Our Staff
Employing more than 15 full-time professional staff and over 100 undergraduate student staff, the Office of Community Engagement works as a cohesive team to fulfill our stated mission and visionary goals.
From our live-in staff to our central office, we all take great pride in our work and are committed to the safety and success of our students.
Our department is divided into functional areas, each with its own unique responsibilities and staff.
Residence coordinators (RCs) are live-in staff members who oversee the daily community development of their assigned residence hall or apartment community. The RC staff have responsibility for their residential curriculum and facilities management, and supervise the Resident Assistant (RA) staff in their assigned area. RC staff serve as a level-one conduct officer as well as a first-year seminar instructor and advisor to students.
The coordinator staff oversee the office with major program planning and implementation around multiculturalism, diversity, and social justice. The staff coordinates implementation of diversity and inclusion initiatives for the campus community and provides guidance and training to cross-cultural student organizations.
