How Do I Apply For Housing as New Resident?
Click on myHeliotrope. (If you have not activated your Purchase Log In and password, you must do this first at my.purchase.edu - Account Activation)
Click the New Student box
Click on Pay Deposits
Make sure to follow the prompts
- Enrollment Deposit ONLY ($150.00)
- Enrollment AND Housing Deposit ($400.00)
Complete your housing application and sign your Residence License Agreement (RLA) and Housing Application through your MyHousing portal.
Upon paying your housing deposit, you will be prompted to complete the Residence License Agreement (RLA) . Students who do not complete these steps will not be provided a room assignment.
Your housing deposit will be applied to the upcoming semester’s room charge.
Residents who live in the residence halls (Central, Crossroads, Farside, Fort Awesome, Outback or Wayback) are required to enroll in a meal plan.

Roommate Selection For New Students:
First Year Students will complete the MyCollegeRoomie application. The MyCollegeRoomie application will open in mid to late May and students will receive an email to their purchase account.
Transfer Students who have a roommate request can email the office at CEG@purchase.edu. These requests are not guaranteed.
