Xu Tan ’20
Xu Tan ’20 recently completed a master’s program in economics.
A double major in Economics and Painting & Drawing, Tan was gallery assistant at Studio A Gallery in Tarrytown while an undergraduate student, and later interned at Fiducient Advisors as a grad student. Tan graduated with an MA in Economics from Hunter College in 2024.

At Purchase, Tan participated in a printmaking class with a study abroad component in the west African country, Benin. Students created their own work while there, and he was on a team that designed and delivered a series of three visual art workshops to children ages 5–14 at the Zinsou Foundation.
