One of the easiest ways to stay informed about campus happenings is to activate your Purchase College credentials and use your Purchase College email. Purchase email accounts are automatically created for members of the Broadview Community. Once you activate your email, you will receive emails directed at the Purchase College community and email specifically for Broadview. Check it often!
Go to the Online Account Activation/Password Reset Site. Click on “Activate your account for the first time” and follow the instructions. If you have trouble, you can call the CTS helpdesk at (914) 251-6465.
Your Purchase College email account is used for official communications to and from the college and students provides access to the college’s online systems (e.g., self-service tools in myHeliotrope; SharePoint sites, and the Brightspace learning management system.
Use your Purchase College email account from any computer with an internet connection and a standard web browser by going to “Email” under “Quick Links” on the faculty/staff portal or access your account via the “Email” link in the footer of each page on the college website. Use your Purchase College email on your mobile phone.
Purchase College uses Duo Security, a two-factor authentication service that strives to be easy to use and secure.
You will receive instructions that walk you through installing Duo as part of activating your purchase email. You will need to download the Duo App from either Google Play (for Android) or the App Store (for iphone).

Your More Card allows you to use the following services:
Your Purchase College credentials (your email address) allow you to log into the Purchase College Zoom account. You can access Zoom from your web browser, or you can download the Zoom App to your computer and us that to join or start a meeting or event. CTS has step by step directions for both methods of signing onto Zoom.
MS Teams is a pillar of the Microsoft collaboration and office suites. At its most basic level it provides Videoconferencing, breakout-rooms, chat, and file sharing tools to enhance interactions with colleagues and students across the college. Teams has a simple and intuitive interface, and you can instantly use it effectively. There is little to no learning curve for the activities you use the most, and there are abundant self-paced tutorials available.
