About 65% of students live on campus throughout their four years at Purchase College, so our community is constantly infused with new faces, ideas and experiences. Whether you test your wings in a student directed learning community, sports, or any of the student organizations based on campus, you’re sure to find a home at Purchase College. Enjoy the convenience of all-inclusive living, while being steps away from academic buildings, student services and campus dining locations.
With five residence halls and three apartment communities, a range of dining options and easy access to New York City, this is where your journey begins to create connections and innovation both inside and outside the classroom.
The Office of Community Engagement encompasses the following areas of student life at Purchase College: New Student Orientation, Student Involvement, Commuter Students, Residence Life, Housing, Campus Traditions, and the Multicultural Center.
Our office creates personal and interpersonal opportunities that support students to become engaged, empowered citizens of an inclusive, diverse learning environment. We invite you to participate in educational and social experiences that are designed for all Purchase students.
