Tom DePaola ’10

Tom DePaola ’10 (philosophy and literature) is a research assistant at the Pullias Center for Higher Education and a provost’s fellow in the Urban Education Policy PhD program at USC Rossier School of Education.

Prior to joining Rossier, he spent five years working as an adjunct instructor and administrator at Bronx Community College (CUNY). Tom spends a lot of time thinking about cities and his primary research interests center on issues of land and labor in higher education.

He recently co-authored a book with fellow alum Daniel T. Scott ’11 and his faculty advisor at USC, Adrianna Kezar on The Gig Academy.
