Transportation and Amenities
Navigating college life is complicated enough. We try to make it as easy as possible: please note some services have been modified due to the pandemic.
Parking and Transportation
For an overview on getting to campus, including directions, start here. The Office of Parking and Transportation handles all issues related to vehicles and transit procedures, including tickets and appeals. Students, staff, and faculty who plan to park on campus are required to register their vehicles.
The campus bus service (Purchase Loop) has been suspended for the Fall 2020 term.
Cable TV
Each room on campus has the ability to connect one TV to our campus cable, which features over 90 channels including HBO, MTVU, and Purchase’s own student-run programming, PTV channel 69. To get plugged in, you’ll need to bring a TV with a QAM tuner, and a coaxial cable. To see listings and troubleshooting tips, check out our channel guide.

Personal Banking
There are three ATMs located on campus; at Campus Center North, and he Bookstore.
Laundry
All campus housing have centralized laundry rooms except for Alumni Village which has machines in each apartment. There is no charge to use the machines as your residence hall charges covers this service. You can check to see if machines are open by using Laundry Connect. You can also have the system alert you when a machine becomes available and submit a repair request.
Campus More Card Services
Your Purchase ID card is your ticket to using your meal plan, getting into buildings, riding the Loop, and accessing many other campus resources. For details, visit the More Card site.
Purchase Bookstore
Right behind the library, our bookstore has great rates on textbooks and rentals, as well as class supplies, school gear, snacks, and energy drinks—so you can power through “new books day.”
The More Store
Will be closed for the Fall 2020 term.
Vending Machines
Due to the pandemic only vending machines in the following buildings will be stocked:Art &Design, Music, Dance, Natural Science, Social Science, Student Services, Gym and Facilities.
Every vending machine on campus can process credit, debit, and More Cards. And if one eats your money? Contact the More Card Office at 914–251–6330 and we’ll get it back for you.
