Summer Precollege Programs in the Arts (Grades 9-12)
This summer, the School of Continuing Education offers exciting ways for high school students to preview the college experience, earn credit, or refine their skills and explore their passions.
Summer Precollege Programs in the Arts
Students in Precollege Programs in the Arts refine their skills, build confidence in their craft, and explore new creative directions through hands-on experiences and experimentation. They engage with a vibrant community of peers and mentors, exchanging ideas and receiving constructive feedback, which fosters both artistic growth and personal development.
Purchase CRED (Creating Real Educational Direction)
New this summer, Purchase CRED is a four-week, credit-bearing Pre-Baccalaureate Program designed to introduce students to the college academic experience. The program offers a unique opportunity to earn college credit while engaging in challenging coursework, collaborative projects, and enrichment activities. Beyond academics, it inspires students to envision themselves as college students, develop essential skills for higher education, and gain confidence in navigating the opportunities and expectations of college life.
