Registration is complete only when all required forms (Registration Form, Health Information and Code of Conduct form, and Immunization forms) are submitted and all tuition and fees are paid in full.

 

PLEASE NOTE: Purchase College offices are remote today Tuesday, February 24th. Online registration is open. For questions, please email youth.pre.college@purchase.edu .

Discounted tuition is available to the categories listed below. If one of these apply to you please use this discount online registration form and select the category that entitles you to additional time for payment.

• Early Registration Discount. Tuition must be paid in full by Friday, May 1st , 2026.
• A family enrolling more than one student in any summer precollege or youth program may enroll the second (and third) student at the discounted rate.
• A family enrolling the same child in more than one program may apply the discount to the second (and third) registrations.

 Empire State Arts Scholarship Program

The Empire State Arts Scholarship, in partnership with programs such as the New York State Summer School of the Arts (NYSSSA), has been instrumental in enhancing the creative abilities of New York State’s most talented young artists.

The deadline for a Summer 2026 scholarship is Friday, April 17th, 2026 at 11:59pm.

To apply, students must meet the following criteria:

1. Be a full-time, permanent resident of New York State (NYS)
2. Receive education in NYS
3. Currently be in 6 ^th -12 ^th grade
4. Demonstrate economic need.

NYSED identifies a student as having economic need if they or their family participates in economic assistance programs such as:

1. Free or Reduced-Price Lunch Program;
2. Social Security Insurance (SSI);
3. Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP);
4. Foster care;
5. Refugee assistance (cash or medical assistance);
6. Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC);
7. Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP);
8. Safety Net Assistance (SNA);
9. Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA); or
10. Family Assistance: Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF).

Registration for Academic EDGE is open.

Before high school students can register for an undergraduate course, they need to seek permission by providing the following material:

1. A high school transcript (official or unofficial) that reflects an 85 percent or B average
2. A letter of recommendation from the student’s guidance counselor or principal
3. A cover letter, written by the student, including phone, email, course desired, and, optionally, an alternate course in case the first option is not available.
