Programs and Procedures
Purchase College is a public employer and therefore covered under the new York State Department of Labor, Public Employee Safety and Health Bureau (PESH). Created in 1980, PESH enforces safety and health standards promulgated under the United States Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) and several state standards.
The PESH Act created this unit to give occupational safety and health protection to all public sector employees.
The Programs and Procedures included on this page provide employees and subcontractors with the minimum set of requirements and to which all work is to be performed on the campus.
