First Wednesdays

Open late until eight

First Wednesdays @ the NEU logo with five circles representing the days of the week and the NEU logo in place of Wednesday.

Once a month, the Neuberger Museum of Art stays open until 8pm for an evening of creativity, connection, and unexpected moments.

First Wednesdays are part social hour, part art adventure, and always a surprise. They happen (almost) every first Wednesday of the month—except in October, when we shift a week for the holiday.

Everyone is welcome—Purchase College students, neighbors, and friends. Explore the galleries, join hands-on activities, and discover something new: a curator sharing the story of a special object, a rarely seen film in the Study, live music, or a guided meditation. See the fall 2025 schedule below.

And don’t forget—free coffee for Purchase College students from 5–8pm!
