Barbara Kay

Barb Kay is a senior journalism major and will be presenting their senior project concerning the experiences of queer people who have BPD (borderline personality disorder), as a queer person who has BPD. Her project includes the history of BPD as well as the DSM (diagnostic and statistical manual), biases against members of the LGBTQ+ community who have BPD, and DBT (dialectal behavior therapy), which is thought to be the best form of treatment.
