Theodore Haegele
Theodore Haegele is a double major in Art History and Sculpture. He will be presenting his senior project, titled, “The Utility Closet: Queer(ing) Sculpture and the (dys)Functional Object, 1967-1997.” His project traces a history of American sculptors producing dysfunctional doubles of quotidian objects in order to disrupt binary categories and symbolically allude to an underlying queer sensibility.
