Jonathan Salamon
Lecturer of Writing
Jonathan (Jon) Salamon teaches College Writing and courses in music history within the Humanities and Jewish Studies departments. A former Fulbright scholar, he received his bachelor’s degree from NYU and master’s and doctorate degrees from Yale with a focus on early music and harpsichord performance. Jon began teaching at Purchase in 2023 and is passionate about helping students develop their craft as writers, critical thinkers, and communicators.
