Why did you decide to become a global scholar?

I decided to become a Global Scholar so that I could experience education in an interdisciplinary way. As a Sociology major, my area of study inherently deals with the workings of people and how they interact. Thus, the opportunity to collaborate with peers of different majors who each have a global focus will allow the complexity of not only my interest, but all of our respective areas of interest to be greatly enriched.​
