John Hunt

John Hunt is a Literature major. They will be presenting their senior project titled “Superman: World Hero or Feared Other?” This project views Superman as a Jewish immigrant and examines the modern trend of Superman being portrayed as a dishonest invader. Superman being removed from his hero role and supplanted with Christian themes is examined alongside America’s extreme reactions towards immigrants and outsiders in the 21st century.
