Brianna Bryan-Kerr

Brianna Bryan-Kerr is a Journalism Major. She will presenting her senior project titled “Memorial Field: The Forgotten Generation.”

In this project, Brianna examines the impact a desolate historical stadium and landmark had on a generation of young black athletes, residents, and the local community. The city of Mount Vernon struggled to cope with the absence of its community center for more than a decade, due to political issues and corruption within the city government. This project looks at the consequences of this situation for the affected groups.
