Alondra Martinez Geronimo
Alondra Martinez Geronimo is a History and Language & Culture double major. She will be presenting her senior project titled “US Media Coverage of the 1937 Haitian Massacre.” Alondra’s projects shares the history and the politics of the Dominican Republic during Trujillo’s regime. She analyzes the media coverage and reaction of the United States during the 1937 Haitian Massacre in the Dominican Republic executed by the infamous dictator of the island, Rafael Leonidas Trujillo.
