Shakira Cherimond ’26

Shakira Cherimond is a Westchester native and artist at heart, majoring in Graphic Design. From an early age, Shakira has always had an interest in the arts. She loves the fluidity of words in literature, along with the very radiant motions of Illustrations. Working in a mix of digital and traditional art, her work usually consists of beautiful P.O.C women surrounded by very lively scenes. Feeling representation of oneself in mind and body is very important, she hopes to one day combine her love of art with writing to create a magical array of children’s books and or shows.
