Rose McCoy
Rose is an Art History and Ancient/Medieval History major. She will be presenting her senior project, titled The Value of Insular Manuscripts as Historical Sources. Insular manuscripts are the books handwritten by monks and nuns in Irish monasteries in the Early Medieval era and analysis of their visual motifs, iconography, and other properties can provide useful insight or supporting evidence for historians studying the time period and place out of which these books were produced.
