George Vince
George Vince is a History major. He will be presenting his senior project, titled “Black Soldiers in the Civil War: Enduring Racism, Inequality, and Abuse in their Units”. The project is about how in their encampments, Black soldiers were treated unfairly by white soldiers and white officers, through letters and other documentations describing the pay disparity, racism, and physical abuse that they endured while serving in the Union army.
