Lianna Samoyedny
Lianna Samoyedny is a History major. She will be presenting her senior project, titled, “Witchcraft in Europe: The German Witch Hunts and Their Influence”. Her project is an analysis of the European witch trials, focusing on Germany in specific. Her project goal is to examine the general background of the trials and how they occurred, the primary sources that played major roles–The Malleus Maleficarum in particular, and how the study of this witch craze relates to gender and women.
