Michael Gilroy

Michael Gilroy is a Creative Writing major. He will be presenting his senior project, titled Vanguards: The World Waits for No One. This story takes place in the world of Rave and follows Dina Carroll, a studious 18-year-old girl who dreams of being a professional explorer called a Vanguard. Despite lacking the physical strength and survival skills of her peers, she joins a grueling tournament to try entering a preparatory school for Vanguards and set her life on track.
