Mark Schwartz

Mark Schwartz is a music lawyer and executive, who is currently EVP and General Counsel for MusiCapital, a music rights acquisition company based near Boston. After gradua​ting with a BA from Cornell and a JD from UCLA School of Law, Mark worked in New York City government as an Assistant Corporation Counsel, then as an associate at Dewey Ballantine, a large multinational law firm, and then at Sony Music Entertainment as Counsel in New York, Head of Business Affairs for Epic Records in London and then Director of Business Affairs in New York. Before joining MusiCapital, Mark had his own law practice representing music companies, television companies, video game companies, artists, producers, executives and other music industry people and companies. Mark is also currently adjunct faculty at Purchase.
