backstory: a treat at RISD

Not long ago I visited the Rhode Island School of Design Museum for the first time. Wow. What a beautiful museum.

It was way bigger than I expected. The objects were fantastic, but even more striking to me was the extraordinary care with which they were installed. Not a hair out of place, so to speak. You can tell a lot about a museum by the pride with which they install their art. No labels lifting. No walls marred. Really just extraordinary. Visit if you can.
