Phase 3 - Improved Access from our Parking Lots to the Main Plaza & Academic Buildings

Modifications and repairs to our existing parking lots, pathways, and sidewalks around the campus, expanding access to our Main Plaza and Academic Buildings.

Project Update as of April 8, 2024

The State Construction Fund has selected M&J Engineering as the design consultant for this project.  They are currently reviewing the existing site conditions and developing planning options for the College to review.

Project Overview

Building upon the recently completed first phase of improvements (see Improved Access from our Parking Lots to the Main Plaza & Academic Buildings), this third phase of work will focus on additional areas around the campus, concentrating on a number of parking lots and pathways not covered in the first and second phases, as well as between our residential areas and athletic fields.

Proposed work in the Central 2 parking lot will include new surface repaving, additional ADA spaces, and new connection paths to the Main Plaza & Heritage Site complex.  Work in the East 1 thru 5 parking lots, along with West 3 will have upgrades made with new ADA parking spaces and pathways at the athletic fields, basketball and tennis courts.

Additionally, parking at both Alumni Village and the Commons will be upgraded, as well as a reworking of the pathways at the Commons Quad.

All of the areas will also see lighting and security improvements.
