Tomorrow we will announce the winner of the 2022 Roy R. Neuberger Prize. We are beyond thrilled to be working with this artist and look forward to the Prize exhibition that will open here on April 13th.
The Prize is our signature award for creative achievements to date and the promise of future achievements still to come. It was introduced in 2008 during Roy’s 105th birthday and is presented every two years to artists who inspire innovative thinking, fresh perspectives, and greater understanding and appreciation of the arts. The Prize honors Roy’s lifelong commitment to support the work of living artists. I want to thank Helen Stambler Neuberger and Jim Neuberger for their generous ongoing support of the Roy R. Neuberger Prize and for stewarding Roy’s legacy in all the ways that they do.
