backstory: Inauguration
At the Neuberger, we’re very excited to be hosting tomorrow’s investiture ceremony for Dr. Milagros (Milly) Peña, the sixth president of Purchase College and the first Latina president in the SUNY system.
The daughter of Dominican immigrants and the first in her family to graduate from college, Milly has a deep and personal understanding of the power and importance of education. She is an accomplished scholar, author, educator, and supporter of the museum.
