backstory: Nice news for The PAC
We recently received the wonderful news that Purchase College has received a $1M Shuttered Venue Operators Grant (SVOG) for The Performing Arts Center. This will go a long way toward helping the museum’s “sister unit” on campus get back on its feet.
Over $16 billion in federal emergency assistance funds is being awarded to venues that were shuttered by COVID-19. The Neuberger Museum was not eligible for this grant, but we are pursuing other relief opportunities for which we’ll hopefully be eligible.
As my learning curve as The PAC’s Interim Managing Director continues, I am grateful to have two incredible staffs that are dedicated to bringing the performing and visual arts back to our community.
