The Neuberger Museum of Art is committed to collecting works of art in the three areas of its mission: modern, contemporary, and African art, following founding patron Roy R. Neuberger’s vision to share art with the public broadly and to support the work of living artists who examine and expand the ideas of our time. The paintings, drawings, sculpture, and mixed media works on view, acquired by the Neuberger over the past two years, attest to the range and vitality of the Museum’s growing permanent collection.
Recent Acquisitions is organized by the Neuberger Museum of Art, Purchase College, SUNY, and is curated by Helaine Posner, Chief Curator. The Museum is grateful to the donors whose generosity helps build this important collection. Support for this exhibition is provided by the Friends of the Neuberger Museum of Art Exhibition Endowment and the Roy R. Neuberger Program Endowment.
