backstory: The Lehman Trilogy
Over the weekend, I saw The Lehman Trilogy at the Park Avenue Armory.
I learned about the production a few months ago from Ambassador John Langeloth Loeb Jr., who had kindly opened his home and beautiful collection of Danish art to our Neuberger patrons and whose mother, Frances Lehman, was the granddaughter of one of the three original brothers to found the firm, Mayer Lehman. The Ambassador had seen the production in London and recommended it so highly that as soon as I got home that evening I googled it and noticed that the tickets were just going on sale so I bought mine. The production is stunning, truly. Go see it if you can.
