Meet Daniel Glaude
Daniel Glaude, BM ’12, MM ’14
I came to Purchase in 2008 for my undergraduate degree, and I stayed on to complete my Master’s Degree in 2014. In 2012 I moved to New York City while I was finishing up at Purchase and started to make my career as a performer and teacher. My musical path has brought me to some interesting places- some of which I dreamed about at school, and some of which I never could have pictured!
At every turn I’ve been helped by the education I received at Purchase- learning about music, working to perfect my craft, and also learning how to be a professional and survive in a challenging field. These days I’m keeping busy performing, recording, and touring with projects ranging from the worlds of big band, swing, and fusion to the worlds of musical theater, funk, pop, folk, rock and more. While I’m home in New York I have a full roster of private students and look to pass on some of the valuable lessons I’ve learned along the way!
