Dormitories: Olde Complex MEP System Rehabilitation
Replace and upgrade the equipment in the mechanical services building for this complex with new code compliant and energy efficient equipment
Project Overview
The Phase 1 housing complex, also referred to as The Olde, is one of the original dormitories on the campus, built in 1976. The complex is composed of eight separate buildings, housing 362 beds. Six of these buildings are actual housing, with the other two buildings acting as support (laundry and mechanical services).
Most of the mechanical equipment and system is original and in poor and failing shape. The systems provide heating and water to the complex. This project will replace and upgrade the equipment in the mechanical services building for this complex with new code compliant and energy efficient equipment.
