Search for a Title
To find a graphic novel, follow these steps:
- Go to the Library Discovery Search
- Select Books/Media @ Purchase from the dropdown menu to the right of the search box
- Type the title into the search box. From the dropdown menu under “anywhere in the record,” select “in the title”. (You can also choose to search by “author/creator.”)
- Click Search (the magnifying glass icon)
- You can further limit your results by selecting Graphic Novels/Comics under Resource Type.
Finding Titles on the Shelf
Most of the Library’s graphic novels have the call number “Popular Collection.” This means they are shelved on the Graphic Novels & Manga shelves on the Library’s first floor, next to the window and the Popular Novels Collection.
Manga and graphic novels are shelved alphabetically by series title. Stand-alone volumes (not part of a series) are also shelved by title.
A few graphic novels have call numbers beginning with PN67; these are located downstairs in the Main Stacks (in the Literature section). If you need help finding an item, please ask a librarian for assistance.
