Welcome Weeks offer a schedule packed with activities to help you meet new people, get into the swing of campus life, and have fun!
We know that students who attend events during Welcome Weeks are more confident because they meet new friends, explore academic and co-curricular opportunities, navigate the campus, and dive into engaging with the Purchase community. Events are open to all Purchase students.

Stuff-A-Plush
3pm, Clocktower
Come create your own cuddly companion — choose from a variety of plush animals and stuff it just the way you like. Whether you’re looking for a comfort buddy or a gift for a new friend, this is the perfect feel-good activity to lift your spirits and help you acclimate to campus. Supplies are limited, so get there early!

Trivia Night

Gather your friends and head to the plaza for a night of fun facts, friendly competition, and great vibes! Test your knowledge across pop culture, history, sports, and more — prizes await the winners.

DIY Fair
12:00pm-2:30pm, The Great Lawn
Get crafty and treat yourself at our hands-on DIY Fair on campus! Stop by to make your own mini succulent planter, mix up a soothing face mask, and design a custom air freshener — all for free! Whether you’re looking to unwind, decorate your space, or just try something new, this is the perfect way to relax and refresh. All supplies provided while they last!

Slumber Darty

Come dressed in your favorite pajamas, loungewear, or comfy clothes and enjoy an evening filled with nostalgic games, friendly competition, and stress-free fun. From classic slumber party favorites reimagined for campus life to laid-back activities designed to help you relax and recharge, there’s something for everyone.
Light snacks and refreshments will be provided, so bring your friends, get cozy, and take a break from the demands of college life.
Movie Night
8pm, Humanities Building, Room 1032
Nominate your favorite film to be shown on the big screen with plenty of popcorn and good vibes to go around. Don’t miss it!

Campus-Wide Water Man Hunt
Armed with water blasters and other water supplies provided by the event, teams will strategize, hide, chase, and outmaneuver their opponents in a fast-paced battle for victory. Whether you’re on the hunt or trying to avoid getting soaked, you’ll need teamwork, quick thinking, and plenty of energy to come out on top.
This is the perfect opportunity to cool off, enjoy some friendly competition, and connect with other students in one of the biggest outdoor games of the semester.

Bus Trip to NYC
Leaving campus 11am, Fort Awesome Parking Lot (Central 1)
Join us for the first Purchase in the City trip of the semester. Hop on the bus and head to the Big Apple for a day of adventure! This trip is your chance to explore New York City at your own pace — whether you want to shop, sightsee, grab a slice, or just wander the streets. No set itinerary, just a few hours to enjoy the city your way. Transportation is covered, you bring the curiosity!
